Mid-South Fair youth talent '07

For more than 54 years the Youth Talent Contest at the Mid-South Fair has been finding and promoting young talent such as Justin Timberlake, Lance Bass, Wendy Moten and Jessica Andrews. The contest provides a performance arena for talented youth ages 13 to 21 to showcase their talent and launch stellar careers.

"The degree of talent these kids bring to the stage always amazes me," said Jeanne Rinnander, Youth Talent Director."The competition gets better and tougher every year."

They must qualify and be "invited" at a Sanctioned Mid-South Fair Preliminary to compete, and positions are already being filled.The grand award winner will receive $3,000, a trophy cup, and a private CBS Audition in Los Angeles. The first-place sweepstakes winner will receive $1,500. Second and third-place sweepstakes winners will receive $1,250 and $1,000 respectively with trophy cups.
