Karlynn Marie Schuster of Lakeland and Robert Dean Sorrell of Bartlett have made the University of Oklahoma's Norman campus honor roll for the spring 2008 semester.

In most colleges, students must earn a minimum 3.5 grade point average on a 4.0 scale to be included on the honor roll. Students in the College of Architecture are recognized with a 3.3 or better, and students in the College of Engineering and Mewbourne College of Earth and Energy are recognized with a 3.0 or better.

Three Bartlett residents have made the Maryville College Dean's List for the 2008 spring semester: Brandon Todd, Ashley Vandevender and S. Blake Vandevender.Brandon Todd, a 2006 graduate of the Evangelical Christian School, is majoring in biochemistry. He is the son of Donald and Sue Todd of Bartlett.

Ashley Vandevender, a 2007 graduate of Central Baptist High School, is majoring in English. She is the daughter of Scott and Kim Vandevender of Bartlett.

S. Blake Vandevender, a 2006 graduate of Central Baptist High School, is majoring in international business. He is the son of Scott and Kim Vandevender of Bartlett.

Qualification for the Dean's List includes a grade point average of at least 3.6 in all work undertaken with no grade below a "C." Only full-time students are considered for the Dean's List.
