Charlene F. Bledsoe, 71, died July 14, 2008. Services were July 17. She was a member of the Church of Christ in West Memphis. She leaves her husband of 50 years, John Bledsoe of Rossville, TN; sons, Wayne Bledsoe of Bartlett and Michael Bledsoe of Franklin, TN; brothers, Ralph Frisbee of Valley Park, MS and Marvin Frisbee of Lake Elsinore, CA; sisters, Glenda Dollar Jonesville, LA and Dorris Doss of Turrell, AR; and seven grand-children.ANA HERSILIA GONZALEZ CLARK

Ana Hersilia Gonzalez Clark, 90, died July 19, 2008. She was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. She was a member of the Church of the Nativity and formerly of St Ann Church in Bartlett. She follows her husband, Riley V. Clark Jr., and son, Riley V. Clark III. She leaves her daughters, Carmen O'Donnell and Rick of Montgomery, AL, Susan Higginbotham and Gragg of Bartlett, and Kathie Turner of Covington, KY; grandchildren, Dawn Higginbotham of Studio City, CA, Gragg, Nathan and Michael Higginbotham of Bartlett, Laura Arnold and David of Cincinnati, OH, Sarah and Jimmy Turner of Loveland, OH, Courtney and Patrick O'Donnell of Montgomery, AL; and great-granddaughters, Abby Higginbotham and Beringaria, Bronwyn and Gwynneth Huggins.

WILLIE MAE COOK

Willie Mae Cook, 85, of Millington, died July 18, 2008. Services were July 21. She follows her parents, Alva and Geneva Avery, and husband, Shem Cook. She leaves her daughters, Sheila Armstrong of Memphis and Sharon Oaks of Somerville,TN; brothers, Charles Avery of Arlington, TN, and Wayne Avery of Millington, TN; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

MARY COWLES

Mary Cowles died July 16, 2008. Services were July 19. She was born to Mr. and Mrs. Francis Edward Adams, Sr. of Arlington, TN. She leaves her sister, Martha Chester Adams Daley of Kansas City, KS; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth McGonagill Cowles of Arlington, TN; grandson, Michael Cowles and wife Carrie Lynne of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughter, Emily Holland and husband Ed of Arlington, TN; great-grand-children, Cameron Douglas and Tucker Edward Cowles, Seth Walker, Wyatt Logan and Cade Weston Holland.

JACK F. DACUS

Jack F. Dacus, 84, of Lakeland, died July 22. Services were July 25. He was a member of Leawood East Baptist Church and the Lakeland Lions Club. He was a recipient of the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. He follows his wife of 43 years, Martha Virginia Dacus and son, Jack "Rick" Dacus. He leaves his wife of 14 years, Lillian; children, Diane McGhee, Carolyn Farzam and David L. Dacus; nine grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren. Make memorials to Leawood East Baptist Church.

KITTYE CAROL HARDIN

Kittye Carol Hardin, 65, of Bartlett, died July 11, 2008. She was a retired realtor. She leaves her husband, Stanley D. Hardin; sisters, Becky Persons, Anne Utley and Julie Clark.

BILL HAZZARD

Bill Hazzard, 71, died July 20, 2008. Services were July 24. He was a member of Hernando United Methodist Church, Hernando Hills Country Club and Delta Area Senior Golf Association and a retired business owner. He leaves his wife, Barbara Hazzard of Hernando; son, Bill Hazzard of Frisco, TX; sister, Bettye Ballard of Memphis, TN; brother, Johnny Hazzard of Lake Park, GA; grandson, Zachary Austin Hazzard of Frisco, TX; and aunt, Joan Bingham of Bartlett, TN.

FOY C. "JIM" HOLLAND

Foy C. "Jim" Holland, 84, of Bartlett, died July 24, 2008. Services were July 26. He worked at Firestone Tire and Rubber, formerly owned and operated O.K. Tires, was president of C.B.I. Tires, a U.S. Army Veteran and an avid woodworker and fisherman. He follows his wife, Alma Holland; son, Kenneth Holland; brothers, Carmen, Leland and Junior Holland. He leaves his son, James Larry Holland of Brighton, TN; daughers, Betty Ann Holland of Bartlett and Janet Lynn Harding of Lakeland, TN; sisters, Mary Frances McCoy of Eads, TN and Cathy Alexander of Booneville, MS; brothers, David Holland of Hernando, MS, Doyle Holland of Burnsville, MS and Dolan McCoy of Johnsburg, IL; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Make memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

DIXIE MCFARLAND JETER

Dixie McFarland Jeter died July 17, 2008. Services were July 20. She leaves her daughter, Dixie Wright of Texarkana, TX; sister, Zelma Mason of Louisville, KY; brother and sister-in-law, Pete and Jean McFarland of Memphis, TN; sister-in-law, Dee McFaraland of Morristown, TN; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. JEREL R. McINNIS

Jerel R. McInnis, 59, of Lakeland, died July 23, 2008. Services were July 29. He was a research chemist at Buckman Labs. He leaves his wife, Anne McInnis; daughter, Erin McInnis; sister, Jena McInnis; brothers, James E. and Sharon McInnis, Jack M. and Gail McInnis; and three nieces. Make memorials to the American Heart Society or American Humane Society.

LIONEL J. "Skip" METZGER

Lionel J. Metzger, 77, of Memphis, formerly of Lakeland, died July 21, 2008. Services were July 23. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1967, retired from UARCO Business Forms, and was the owner of Metzger Business Forms, member of the Lakeland Lions Club and former President, and former City Commissioner for the City of Lakeland. He leaves his wife of 53 years, Nancy M. Metzger; son, Gregory James Metzger; daughter, Patricia A. Hamilton and husband, Woody; grandchildren, Johnathan James Metzger, Matthew Woodward Hamilton and Meagan Marie Hamilton; and sister, Shirley Lapinsky. Make memorials to the American Heart Association.

EDWARD F. ROGERS, JR.

Edward F. Rogers Jr., of Rives, TN, formerly of Bartlett, died July 20, 2008. Services were July 22. He was retired from the U.S. Postal Service of Bartlett, was a member of Hornbeak Baptist Church, a devoted UT football fan, served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and received the Korean Service Medal and United Nations Medal. He leaves his wife of 28 years, Carolyn Rogers; daughter, Sheri Burdette of Covington, TN; son, Richard Rogers of Memphis; step-sons, Paul Bryan Miller of Southaven, MS, and Patrick Shawn Miller of Oakland, TN; sisters, Lena Dotson of Millington, TN, and Katie Taylor of Garland, TX; brothers, Jimmy Rogers of Mason, TN, and William Gray Rogers of Pilot Mountain, NC; grandchildren, Nathan and Jared Burdette, Daniel Rogers all of Covington, TN, Rachel Smith of Mason, TN, Syndee and Shelby Rogers both of Dyersburg, TN, Alex Miller of Southaven, MS, Matthew Miller of Oakland, TN and David Martin of Millington, TN; great-grandchildren, Aaron and Colyn Rogers both of Covington, TN, Lauren and John Ethan Smith both of Mason, TN. Diane Campbell Studdard, 49, of Millington, died July 16, 2008. Services were July 21. She attended Crosspoint Baptist Church. She leaves her husband, Arlin Studdard of Memphis; daughters, Erica Crabtee of Millington, Ashley Bucklew of Arlington and Erin Louder of MS; son, Mark Laub on tour in Iraq; mother, Norma Crabtree of Millington; sisters, Riki Campbell Forbess of Munford and Debi Campbell Carter of Cordova; and brother, Johnny Campbell of Millington.

NINA CLAIRE GATES TAYLOR

Nina Claire Gates Taylor, 86, of Memphis, died July 14, 2008. Services were July 16. The daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W. L. Gates, she grew up in Clarksdale, MS and attended Mississippi State College for Women, 1943. She lived in Memphis for over 50 years and taught in the Memphis Public School system for 30 years. She loved flower gardening and visiting the family farm in Oxford, MS. She was a communicant of Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church. She follows her husband of over 50 years, Herman E. Taylor, Sr. and her son Herman E. "Gene" Taylor, Jr. She leaves Glenn Gates Taylor and Claire Taylor Dickerson of Jackson, MS, Stephens Davis Taylor, and William Jarratt McLarty Taylor of Memphis; brother, Dr. Glenn Gates of Clarksdale, MS; sister, Natalie Bragg of Arlington, TN; 13 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family thanks Lillie Smith, Chris Smith, Gertrude Anderson and Henrietta Cohn for their help and support. Make memorials to Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

KONNYE NOBLIN WARREN

Konnye Noblin Warren, 51, of Bartlett, died July 19, 2008. Services were July 22. She owned X-Partners Bar and Grill and was previously a respiratory therapist for 20 years. She leaves her husband, George S. Warren; parents, Waymon and Linda Noblin of Panama City, FL; sisters, Karen Bower of Katy, TX, Kimory Hunt of Panama City, FL, Keely Davidson and Paul of Bartlett, and Kandye Jaras and Mike of Memphis; aunt, Ernestine Saunders of Monterey, CA; nieces, Brittney and Kyndal Davidson of Bartlett; step-daughters, Stephanie Benson, Lisa Carpenter and Misty White; five step-grandchildren; many friends and her pets Ralph and Frank.
